Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The doll’s silk kimono, hair ornaments, and miniature samurai kabuto helmet show virtually no signs of wear. The wooden and glass display case is structurally sound with clear glass panels and minimal surface scuffs.
Character & History: This traditional Showa-era Sakura Ningyo (Cherry Blossom Doll) features Princess Yaegaki (Yaegaki-Hime), a celebrated character from Japanese Kabuki theater. She is beautifully depicted holding the sacred fox-spirit Samurai Kabuto helmet.
